Antonio Brown's career was on the rise after spending 9 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Differences between Brown and the Steelers eventually resulted in his shipment from the team. This past offseason, Brown was traded to the Oakland Raiders in hopes of revamping his play on a new team.
The Oakland Raiders were seeking a major improvement from the 2018 NFL season through the acquisition of the all-pro Antonio Brown. Ironically, Brown and his issues continued with the Raiders, ranging from cryotherapy injuries to threatening retirement from the league because of the prohibition of his favorite helmet type. Brown provoked the Raiders to eventually release him from the organization.
Next was the signing of Brown by none other than the defending champion New England Patriots. Brown increased the on-paper talent of the Patriots. Shortly after, Brown's issues once again continued, as allegations surfaced of sexual assault. Despite the addition of another issue to Brown's career, the star wide receiver prepared for what would be his first and only game with the New England Patriots. Continuing allegations of sexual assault resulted in the Patriots releasing Brown, making him a free agent once again. Time will tell what the next chapter will be for Antonio Brown.
