Las Vegas- Since Antonio Brown signed with the Raiders, he's had several missteps with the team and the league. Some of his recent incidents have gone too far and have caused a rift between Brown and the Raiders GM Mike Mayock. It has been proven time after time throughout all sports that no one person is above the team. Antonio’s history shows that he's been all about himself. He has brought negative attention that then serves as a detriment to the team. This attention has been magnified since the Raiders found themselves in the fishbowl that is HBO's “Hard Knocks.” Every episode of this series, instead of focusing on the teams' progress in the preseason or how the rookies are doing, ended up revolving around Antonio Brown.
Antonio Brown came to the Raiders via the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Rooney family, owner of the Steelers, are known for putting their players first and always taking care of them. Likewise, Mike Tomlin, Head Coach, is a disciplinarian and “players coach.” Even with all these factors in his favor, Antonio Brown could not find stability with the Steelers. Despite all of his physical talents, the Steelers were willing to let him go.
Perhaps, Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock thought they would be the ones who could get Brown to change. However, Brown has clearly shown the Raiders who he is because of all the antics he's pulled off. The Raiders need to send a message that this conduct will not be tolerated no matter who the player is and suspend him.

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown has brought drama from Pittsburgh all the way to Oakland. This time, that drama is with the Raiders General Manager Mike Mayock. It started when Brown had frostbite on his feet and was skipping most of his treatment times. He would constantly reschedule them to fit a schedule Brown wanted. Antonio finally showed up to his treatment and practice after being called out by Mayock with an ultimatum of, “it is either you’re all in or you’re all out.” Brown, meanwhile, had already missed several weeks of practice.
Antonio Brown has consistently shown that his ego and arrogance is taking control of his decision making and career. Brown has been the headline of most Raiders breaking news stories since he was traded to the team. Unfortunately, he's also shown that he is a hypocrite. Earlier in the year, Brown did an interview with Jeff Darlington and stated that “it is not about the money, I can retire from football and be fine,” Brown said. However, he was recently in the sports news about playing in a helmet that suited him, but he was denied twice of the grievance by the NFL. As a result, this landed him a new lucrative endorsement deal with Xenith.
Antonio Brown is all about the money even though he denies it. In many aspects, it seems as if Brown feels attack when he's fined. He resorts to social media to lash out when they take away a huge amount of money from him. Due to an assortment of these instances becoming commonplace with the wide receiver, Brown is now viewed as the new “drama king” in the NFL.
