Norwich vs Leeds:

Leeds gave themselves some breathing room away from the relegation zone with a 2-1 win over winless Norwich.

Norwich had a much stronger start to the game, but they were unable to convert any of their first-half chances. Norwich would pay for not scoring after Raphinha danced around two Norwich defenders to put Leeds 1-0 up in the 56th minute.

An almost instant response came from Norwich in the 58th minute. A corner resulted in a header from Andrew Omobamidele who leveled the score at 1-1.

Once again there was a goal two minutes later. Rodrigo gave Leeds a 2-1 lead after he hit a long-range left-footed shot. Norwich tried to make up the deficit but was unable to do so.

Aston Villa vs West Ham:

West Ham’s fantastic start to the season continued against Aston Villa as they picked up a 4-1 win.

Ben Johnson got West Ham off to a flying start, scoring a powerful left-footed shot from a difficult angle. Ollie Watkins evened the score at one after a significant amount of pressure by Aston Villa.

Four minutes later, Delcan Rice scored to give West Ham a 2-1 lead.

It got even worse for Aston Villa after Ezri Konsa Ngoyo was sent off for denying Jarrod Bowen a clear goal-scoring opportunity. The final two blows did not come until the last 10 minutes of the game.

Bowen had his shot saved, but Pablo Fornals was there to finish on the follow-up chance to make it 3-1 West Ham. Bowen would get his goal though, making it 4-1 after Manuel Lanzini slid a pass across the box. Aston Villa’s poor run of form continues.

Premier League games are broadcast on NBCUniversal networks and its Peacock streaming service.
