The 2022 NHL All-Star Game will take place next Winter in Las Vegas, at the midway point of the 2021-22 season, the league announced Monday.
The weekend festivities will include various skills competitions to showcase the league’s best players, before the All-Star Game caps off the weekend at T-Mobile Arena.
The event will add plenty of tourism and an economic boost to the city, as All-Star Weekend draws in hockey fans from around the globe.
“It’s very exciting to have the opportunity to host the 2022 NHL All-Star Weekend at T-Mobile Arena,” Vegas Golden Knights President & COO Kerry Bubolz said. “This is one of the league’s premier events of the year and we are thrilled to bring fans from around the world to Las Vegas to celebrate hockey.”
The NHL All-Star Game adds to an already busy 2022 for Las Vegas. The NFL will host next year’s Pro Bowl at Allegiant Stadium on February 9, while also hosting the NFL Draft here next Spring.
