Members of the Raiders Organization and players joined owner, Mark Davis, in the renaming of the Oakland Raiders to the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday, January 22.
Governor of Nevada, Steve Sisolak, also attended to share his excitement and welcome the Raiders to Las Vegas. Construction workers responsible for building Allegiant Stadium attended the event and received praise from both Sisolak and Davis for their hard work. Workers also got the chance to meet and greet with players from the Raiders following the announcement. Davis also announced the Raiders pledged a donation of $500,000 toward paying off school meal debt in Nevada, "Working in the community is what we do best," said Davis.
