A power-play goal scored by Pietrangelo, and two more goals scored by Schwartz and Sundqvist. The Vegas Golden Knights are down by three, going into the second period.
After struggling to get anything going, Ryan Reeves scores the first Golden Knights goal (13:10). The goal proved to be the spark that the Golden Knights needed, a quick goal follows. Paul Stastny scores his eleventh goal of the season, and Vegas has shortened the lead by one, going into the third period. Vegas flips the switch and takes over the game. Shortly after the opening faceoff, A goal scored by Nicolas Roy, to tie the game at 3-3.
Cody Glass is escorted out of the game, due to a hamstring injury, early into the third period. The Golden Knights keep their foot on the gas pedal as Reilly Smith scores his 16th of the season, to put the Golden Knights up by one. The Golden Knights have scored 4 unanswered, and keep creating constant opportunities. The Blues scored a power-play goal to tie the game at 4 goals apiece. David Perron scores his 17th of the season. With a minute left into the game, The Golden Knights have a 4 on 3 power play, with a chance to win the game, and the St. Louis Blues shut it down. We head to Overtime. The Golden Knights carry over the power play into overtime and will have a man advantage for forty-seconds.
