The situation in Australia leaves the world in shock. Not only do the fires affect the locals, but Australians all over the world. Jonah Antonio, Australian native, and UNLV Shooting Guard leads the effort to give people a platform to help. Jonah Antonio and UNLV basketball fans have already started to do so. Jonah will be donating five dollars for every 3-pointer he makes in every Mountain-West Conference game, while some fans will be donating five dollars, for every assist by Amauri Hardy, and five dollars for every block by Mbacke Diong.

Jonah shares his words and wants the world to know what is going on in his home country. " Since September, the bushfires have destroyed more than 900 homes, decimated small towns, killed more than 480 million animals, and at least 17 people... As a proud Australian, I am heartbroken to see this happen to my motherland." Jonah has started a Gofundme page dedicated to the bushfires. Hundreds of dollars have already been raised, and this is only the beginning.

Jonah has been doing great things on and off the court. If you would like to donate as well, the link to his Gofundme page is below.
