WrestleMania Weekend has officially come to an end, the lights have gone off at MetLife Stadium and the WWE are now looking ahead to Tampa Bay, where the next show will take place.

WWE was in a tough spot during the weekend having to compete with not only the Ring of Honor/NJPW Supercard but, with themselves on Friday when NXT Takeover: New York set a bar that Wrestlemania could not reach.

Ultimately this WrestleMania was a good show, multiple baby face wins, tons of feel good moments and insane moments.

  • Cruiserweight championship Match: Buddy Murphy (c) vs Tony Nese - Tony Nese def. Buddy Murphy (c) becoming the new Cruiserweight Champion
  • Women's Battle Royal: Carmella wins the battle royal, capturing the trophy amid weird booking decisions and a hodgepodge of miscues
  • Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: Braun Strowman captures the trophy. Decimating everyone in the ring and showing Colin Jost and Michael Che of SNL why you do not call wrestling fake. They were thrown out with ease
  • Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Revival (c) vs Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins - Ryder and Hawkins def. The Revival (c) Curt Hawkins' 269 day losing streak has officially ended and gave the hometown boys their WrestleMania moment

Ronda Rousey (c) and Charlotte Flair (c) A main event that seemingly has left fans scratching their heads saying: "This is it?" A match that had a great storyline going forward and a finish that seemed to abrupt to be real, questioning whether it was not meant to happen.

Closing Thoughts

WrestleMania this year had many ups and downs but was ultimately plagued by time.

Clocking at over seven hours, not including the kickoff show, there was just too much wrestling and matches that felt like filler you would see on either Raw or Smackdown.

WWE put all their eggs in one basket, leading to a crowded main card that was never going to top NXT the day prior.

An overall good show with very memorable moments and baby face wins but, not worth the time commitment.

Watch it if you are a fan or catch the highlights off YouTube and Twitter.
