Starting off the season 0-2 has not been the norm for the Golden State Warriors. The consecutive losses were the first for the team in a decade, and the new look of the team is less enticing for one to think the Warriors will be back for another year in the NBA Finals.
The Warriors picked up their first win recently against the New Orleans Pelicans, bringing their record to 1-2. With Draymond Green suffering an elbow injury in the first game and Klay Thompson not being able to return most likely until next season, the leadership role has not been more prevalent for Stephen Curry. D'Angelo Russell will be there to brush off some of the workload for the 2-Time MVP, but these losses are a sign that the Warriors will not have an easy path to the Finals, let alone the playoffs.
