Runnin' Rebels head coach T.J. Otzelberger and his players were paid a visit from former MMA fighter Forrest Griffin, who brought a UFC belt as a gift. This prize, called the Top Stopper, will be awarded to the best defensive player of the week once the regular season is underway.

T.J. Otzelberger commented on how this belt reflects what the team has been implementing into their system when it comes to the defensive end. Both Donnie Tillman and Elijah Mitrou-Long were candid when asked about what the visit from Forrest Griffin and the belt mean to them. They also commented on how the belt can serve as motivation to push one another's intensity, whether that be on the defensive or offensive side.

The Runnin' Rebels get the regular season started on Tuesday, November 4th against Purdue Fort Wayne.
