There’s no denying that Las Vegas has become a hockey town. With the ever-increasing popularity of the Vegas Golden Knights, UNLV’s hockey program has gained quite the attention it deserves. The Skatin’ Rebels certainly attract a large crowd at City National Arena, the Golden Knights’ practice facility located in Summerlin. Once fans come to the arena to watch the Rebels, they are hooked, and always leave wanting more. The crowd at City National Arena is full of everlasting energy and has no problem getting loud and rallying for its team. It is the energy that leaves fans with an unforgettable experience and the desire to return to the rink.
The team definitely capitalizes on the crowd’s energy, as they are 10-1 this season thus far, and are undefeated at home! If you have yet to attend a UNLV Skatin’ Rebels hockey game, the next home game takes place on Friday, December 6, against Stony Brook University, New York at City National Arena at 7:00 p.m.
